Composite Technology and Infrastructure acquires substantial assets of Donlon Industrial Flooring

Albany, NY, June 16, 2017 – Composite Technology and Infrastructure (CTI) of Albany, NY, a division of Corrosion Products and Equipment (CPE) of Rochester, NY, is pleased to announce the acquisition of substantial assets of Donlon Industrial Flooring (DIF) of Saratoga Springs New York. The result of this acquisition will be the creation of a new operating division of CTI called CTI-Donlon.
Donlon is an applicator of high-end industrial flooring for the commercial, pharmaceutical, high tech, and chemical industries. “This acquisition will enable CTI to provide customers a much broader service offering in addition to infrastructure repair, tank and containment linings and industrial painting services” said Robert Tortorella, CEO of CPE. “By leveraging Donlon’s capabilities with our existing portfolio of products and services, we will greatly enhance our value to the marketplace”.
The staff of DIF including project managers, foreman and work crews, in addition to the founder and previous owner Dave Donlon, will be joining the CTI-Donlon team. Donlon will assume the role of Managing Partner in the new division. “From the beginning of initial discussions to the actual date of close, CTI and CPE have been very professional and welcoming of our organization” Donlon stated. “We are excited about the acquisition and are equally excited about the new opportunities this will create”.
The integration of DIF into CTI will take place over the next several months, however the transition will be seamless to the customer base. “This is an important step in the progression and growth of our company” said Frank Carello, President of CTI. “We want to ensure that our mutual customers continue to receive the highest quality of service that they have come to expect from us during this time”.
